by being new to Zen, I've spent 20 years with it, and I consider
myself a novice(if I may quote Plato, all I know is I know nothing).
And don't feel like every post has to be instruction on Zen, asking
questions will also stimulate the group. Remember, the only stupid
question is the unasked question.
You sound like you're on the right track ni the concept of Zen.
KILL THE EGO, Yes! It will often lead you astray, master it, rather
than letting it master you. My only piece of advice I would give,
and please understand this is only my opinion, is drop the labeling;
the concept of good and evil are largely related to perspective; my
understanding of yin and yang is that all things have good and bad,
and therefore are neither and both at the same time. Peace, Guy.
