So why are they hunting ?  Braking the neck of a goose and then 
placing on our front porch was done out of both hate and anger.
Killing can not be done by a loving person (except in very rare 
circumstances out of compassion.)

It didn't begin with anger and ignorance, it ended up at that point.
I did teach by example of what to do and what NOT to do.

I can help put peace there for them, and I am responsible to teach 
what little I've learned so far.

 Taking The Precepts

I hadn't seriously considered taking the precepts before because I 
did not think I could upkeep them.   I thought it would create more 
karma by braking these vows.  When this situation rearose I decided 
that in order to take a better direction that if I vowed the 
precepts I would follow them.  I am just that way with words.

I do not know what to do next for sure, I am unable to attain this 
peace at all times yet in all situations.

I am intending to do so. I understand this the more I stay mindful
moment to moment.
