The Bodhsattva Vow Is Not A Vow To End Suffering. It Is A Vow To Save All Sentient Beings From Suffering. I Cannot End The Suffering Of A Duck..... I Am Not Sure A Duck Is Sentient. The Way To End Suffering Is The Eight Fold Path. This Is The Buddhas Teaching. I Cannot Walk The Path For Another, Nor Can I Force Another To Walk It. What I Can Do Is Demonstrate It Is Possible And Invite Others To Join Me On The Path. I Have No Idea What Right Thinking Might Be For A Duck, And I Would Imagine Right Speech Would Be A Bit Beyond A Goose, But They Are Welcome To Waddle Along The Best They Can. I Will Not Take Resposibility For Your Suffering Or To End Your Suffering.... Trying That Just Creates More Suffering. All I Can Do Is Stand By With A Tear In My Eye Until You Decide You Have Suffered Enough And Your Way Seeking Mind Arises And Then Help You Through Those First Few Faltering Steps On The Path.
