---Thanks for the advice Genryu. Maybe I'll have to alter the basics to a bowl, a spoon, a robe, and a condom.lol. Seriously though, aren't relationships a form of attachment? And consequently a begining of suffering? In my job i see a lot of relationships based on all the wrong reasons(money, looks, abusive behavior, etc), so maybe it's just me. But between that and wood, Hell, i'm a 2x4.; )Guy In [email protected], "Rev Genryu" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Guy > > If you want to eliminate desire and not have relationships - become a block of wood. Zen practice on the other hand is about being fully human. What you might want to look at though is what lies underneath your question - your views of relationships, women (assuming you're heterosexual), and what is pure and impure. > > Genryu > ----- Original Message ----- > From: ventouxboy > To: [email protected] > Sent: Saturday, March 19, 2005 5:38 PM > Subject: [Zen] Breaking attachment > > > > Does anyone have any experiences/thoughts on breaking the > attachment of intimate relationships?
