Rest assured that I will not cling to my breathing technique. In 
fact, I am certain eventually to stop breathing altogether.

I am simply curious if I am the only practitioner of Sekida's 
method. (If not, perhaps we could form our own Yahoo group.) After 
much solo practice I am aware that I must soon seek out a teacher. 
Before I am asked why I do as I do, I thought to ask around and see 
what is thought of Sekida's instructions. It appears that his book 
is praised in some quarters but everywhere ignored. In an immediate 
sense, this is of no concern to me, but might, eventually, become a 
complication. At that point I am confident that a resolution will 
present itself. I will not cling to a specific breathing exercise.

Regarding dung heaps and their value: like many issues, context is 
everything. In the place where I sleep, none, in my garden 
considerably more.
