I keep reading in various newspapers and
magazines about the fact that SOME people of all races, groups, orientations,
etc. who know that they are infected with AIDS or Herpes or other STDs continue
to have unprotected sexual relations with others who have not been warned
of their risk.
To me, it seems like a very serious crime is
being committed against the innocent victims who get infected
with diseases that do not have any know cure.
But what about the infected person who wants to
continue having a normal life and who does not want to acknowledge that he/she
is a plague-carrier?
What do you think is the appropriate Zen
Mind regarding the person knowingly infecting others? What would you tell that
person?
How would you counsel someone who had just
discovered that a few dates with a new lover had turned into a Life
Sentence with an STD?
No Flames Please.
Thank you.
