Would be nice to be able to do this without Informant, as several of my
Windows machines just refuse to use Informant, and as such I cannot now
get that info in Zenoss. And of course, the support for the free
Informant is non-existent.

Sorry I don't have time to fully answer this, but Cacti's default SNMP settings
for
Windows hosts pulls partitions, network, phys/virt memory, per-cpu utilization,

processes.
Pull down a current 0.86 build and dig through the Data Templates, you'll see
the
OID's used in there for pulling this stuff straight from the default MS SNMP
installation... I don't have an answer either to why Informant is
recommended/required to do this with ZenOSS.

Thanks for your reply. Answers some things.
I've seen an SNMP monitoring system which monitors CPU, Drives (which is
already done in Zenoss) and other details WITHOUT SNMP Informant.. I'm
assuming just using standard Mibs.
Just struggling to find where they are.. somewhere in 1.3.6.1.2 but
thats as far as I'm getting! Thanks
