Oh man, WMI explorer is nice and it seems much easier to trust than wbemtest, which appears to be more like a poor hack by a microsoft intern than anything else.
With WMI explorder I'm also getting permission denied errors though. I've tried the IP address and I also used the WMI explorer's browse method (you can look up work group and the system name). I know WMI works because I can connect to localhost, but the remote stuff doesn't make much sense to me yet. I did find some web pages that talked about permission denied errors, but the solutions don't seem to work very well. Anything I should be sure to check like a remote administrator login somewhere? ------------------------ Carl Van Arsdall -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=9645#9645 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
