You shouldn't create a new certificate anyway.  If the update blows away the 
certs you created the first time you should reinstall the old ones.  I'll add 
that in my article as well.

It's not a problem to recreate new certs every time, but by doing so you'll 
have to "accept" each self-signed-cert you create.
