I'm not sure if that dedup applies to this situation...the other post you are talking about was a different problem. And I was never able to find the post you mentioned in that other thread either.
It is not so much the clearing of events to the history that I'm worried about, it is why Zenoss is not alerting as soon as the first event comes in, regardless of how soon after the clear event comes. There must be some way to turn this off...
