In the follow up of that thread, matt asked if I opened a specific ticket on 
trac. 

So I did, yet 8 days later it doesn't seem to trigger any reaction :

Ok, the issue we have (level3 dependencies not working as expected) may not 
appear on a fresh install, yet on our upgraded after upgraded installation (it 
started back to 2.10) it's very well present.

So maybe the issue we have is not a bug, but some inconsistency in our 
installation.

This is kind the of situation, we would be "happy" to buy a ticket to get some 
"expert" help us locate the issue quickly, rather than spending days trying to 
solve it by ourselves.
