That's cool, although wildly inaccurate. One of the things wrong with zope.publisher is that it depends on too many other things. It would be useful to try to clean that up. A while ago, I proposed a stripped down zope.publisher (zope.pub or something) that had a lot less in it, http://mail.zope.org/pipermail/zope-dev/2008-March/031170.html . I never found time to do this though.
