OK, BP SM page 130-19, Figure 28 is completely wrong
for my M50 motor's intake runner - there is NO IAT
sensor where that arrow is. In fact, I see no IAT
anywhere on the intake runner.

There is something that looks a little like an IAT
stuck into the inner backside of my stock air filter
box, but that gold thing has two ?coolant? hoses
connected to either side of it - no wires anywhere.

Any idea where my IAT is?
My 1993 325i was manufactured in 09/1993.

Thanks,
Pete

Your intake air temperature sensor is located on the bottom of the intake plenum
between #5 and #6 runners.

Wouldn't that make your car a '94 model?

Brian
lost my 93 325 on Tuesday to a rear ending :-(

Sean,
Caster changes dynamic camber primarily. The amount of camber change
(gain) when you turn the wheel. I suppose a control arm position change
could result in an ever-so-slight change in the static camber, but don't
expect much there. Maybe a 1/10 of a degree at the very most I'd guess.
The dynamic effects of caster changes are where the camber advantage
comes in. Turn the steering wheel to the right and the left front wheel
gains negative camber which helps cornering. The car can tolerate more
static camber and neutral toe if there is increased caster before it
becomes twitchy. You can counter the 'slower steering' from increased
caster with slight toe changes and still gain the dynamic camber
effects.

By the way, if you do opt for the offset bushing, make sure you check
the toe settings as well after installation!

Cheers,
Chet Dawes

I am looking at a car in Walnut Grove.
I am in Houston.
Can one of our Bay Area friends recommend a knowledgeable shop in or
near Walnut grove, CA in order to send the car to have thoroughly
inspected?

Thanks!
