First free up the hinges with WD40 and repeated opening and closings, then after dry, soak it up with White Lightning bicycle chain lube. Great on hood and trunk hinges and latches too. In particular, I'm considering a 97 540i 6 sp which is located in either Suffern, NY or near Albany, NY (dealership has two locations). I've got family in Suffern (I live near Boston), so I will likely look at the car there. Does anyone know of a good place to have an inspection done near Suffern, NY (near the Tapanz Bridge which is about 30 minutes outside of NYC for those who are somewhat familiar with the area)? I'd really like to have an inspection done prior to putting the money down. Additionally, any problem areas to look for? Thanks, Paul __________________________________ Yahoo! I supposedly have it wired correctly but cannot get any audio from the added input. There's must be a "gotcha" somewhere in the installation process. Hopefully, someon has found this before me. Thanks in advance.
