Hello to all Care2x developers,
I have been looking for Hospital Information System for our 18
nonprofit hospitals in Tanzania. With our small budget most other
options are either too expensive, support is too expensive or not
available.
We are starting now to test Care2x in one outpatient clinic. After
getting some experience we will start to modify it to our needs and
hope to implement to first fullsize hospital next year. There are some
modules, which we will absolutely need: billing, inventory and also
good reporting system. Those are the same Elpidio highlighted in his
presentation in Flensburg.
Our concept is to get help for implementation from a small German
company, which is familiar with our conditions in Tanzania. We have
some local skills in our ISP with the tools of Care2x. Also I try to
mobilize volunteers from my home country Finland to help at least
with smaller modifications.
Of course we hope that the Care2x developing community will also be
active in supporting our efforts. Specially we hope that those core
modules would find developers as soon as possible. Without them
Care2x like a man with good brains but missing one leg and hand.
