I think the reason for that is that the arrow keys are being responded to by the horizontal widget, and have nothing to do with dvbcut at all. Any such widget with keyboard focus would do the same thing. Therefore dvbcut is merely receiving data from the horizontal widget saying it has been moved. That it was moved by keyboard and not mouse is irrelevant.
