I think it would be useful to rebase the patch, at the moment your repo says: "This branch is 9 commits ahead, 916 commits behind LinuxCNC:master." "git pull --rebase" If the current commit structure makes sense, then leave it as it is, but there might be an argument for squashing some or all of the commits together.
