To help avoid some confusion, might I suggest that one or the other be renamed? It's too late to rename the ones that have shipped with Finale, so maybe the one that's part of your Collection could be called Patterson Beams Plus (or some such thing)? I think that will help convey the fact that it's got a different license and (potentially) different abilities.
