Well, that seems to be wrong, according to recent conversations on the list. As of 0.3.7a what I've read recently indicates (though things often change...): 1) no_black_magic is no longer used and if present, can cause the module not to load. 2) the i2c_enable for the cx25840 is no longer necessary, as the code is now able to probe for the chip correctly now. Mostly. 3) due to technical reasons I don't understand, the i2c_enable for the saa7127 is *still* required because it is believed to be impossible to probe correctly for this chip. 4) i2c_enable being set to 1 or -1 per card depends entirely on *which* card it is, so there should be no blanket statements about the settings.
