Thanks for the help everyone... I just tested it and I don't think I
have an audio anywhere on my Fedora Core 4 system, either in KDE or
Gnome, (I tried to play an audio CD)... But it sound does work under
Windows XP on the same machine... Any ideas how this might be fixed?
Thanks!

I'm afraid I don't know what the dmesg output is. And you mean
you want me to run those and then run depmod and modprobe ivtv?
First start with a
sudo depmod -a
Then remove all the relevant modules just to be safe
sudo rmmod -f ivtv wm8775 cx25840 tveeprom tuner Then modprobe
these first (just to make sure they don't bomb out)
sudo modprobe tveeprom
sudo modprobe tuner
Finally modprobe ivtv
sudo modprobe ivtv
Make sure you're tuned to a channel too!
If it doesnt't work, then post the dmesg (which is just command,
type `dmesg`) and post the relevant part between the IVTV INIT
sections. It is just like the syslog except it has debug messages,
which don't go to the syslog.
