Thank you very much for taking the time doing this. Based on this info I'm 
comparing 0.3.4z and 0.3.5z to see if anything looks suspicious. BTW, can you 
post the ivtv START-END messages in the dmesg output? Also, if you have 
particularly good examples of drops and/or locally disturbed pictures then 
put them aside if possible. I might want to look at them later.
