Hi Mac, After you install Jaws you will get a multi page dialog called, Start-up Wizard, & in this Wizard you can set Jaws, NOT, to start with Windows. The, Control, Alt, + J, keystroke is the default hotkey / shortcut for starting Jaws, unless its changed, & I haven't heard of the change. When installing Jaws a shortcut icon will be placed on the desktop, so pressing enter on this icon will start Jaws as well. Take care. Mike. Go Dodgers! Sent from my iBarstool. i'm finally going to install jaws before f s o takes away my window eyes migration deal. however, i don't want jaws to load at startup, i just want to use it manually. when i first install jaws, i will set windows to not load at the log in screen or at windows startup, because i know jaws will load automatically, where do i go to stop jaws from loading at startup, is ctrl alt j a good hot key to use to start jaws manually? -- from Mack For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
