Even in NYC they getting pretty cheap... I had an interview at a NYC financial company for an Operations Position (night shift, 55+ hours a week) which required strong Perl skills.
5+ Sun Solaris Admin, 5+ Perl, Other experiences+... Position was salary at $50,000 in NYC, I went in there asking for $85k. There logic was NYC natives need not apply, only people from low-cost Jersey who take the train in. -john On Wed, 21 Jan 2004, Terrence Brannon wrote: > I got a call from a recruiter saying they were looking for a strong Perl > programmer for a financial company.
