Hi, There are some information that can perhaps help you.I don't think it's an Arch issue.A few weeks ago I installed Kubuntu 22.04 to an external drive that contains Plasma Version 5.24.4.Here I found the same untranslated terms in Systemsettings >Workspace Behavior > Desktop Effects like in Arch Linux KDE,when I had also 5.24.4: "Gleiten" was "glide","Hintergrundkontrast" was "Background Contrast","Vergrößerung des Fensters" was "Window Zoom" with many other words and titles that were not translated into German.In Arch Linux KDE 5.24.4 and Kubuntu 5.24.4,in both cases the same result.This was fixed for Arch in 5.24.5,but again untranslated terms (as mentioned above in my first dialog) appeared in 5.25. Today early in the evening I downloaded KDE Neon,flashed it to a usb and installed it on an external drive,only to see if it's the same here,KDE Neon runs 5.25.2 like my Arch.And I was not surprised to see that here KDE Neon has the same untranslated terms in Systemsettings like in Arch Linux KDE. So,I conclude that there must be an issue in KDE that,although we know that 1) the .desktop file contains the right German translation,for instance,of "Fensterdekoration",but 2) that this title/term is not transferred or copied into Systemsettings > Appearance.This could be the issue.
