You are correct, with one exception. Modules loaded from modules.sqfs during booot are written to /var/lib/lrpkg/sqfs.modules and saving modules will not save those. Andrew explained his decision in previous mails. To be able to delete modules.sqfs and save *all* modules into moddb.lrp a new option has been added to leaf.cfg. While I understand your concerns, and appreciate it, though I also respect Andrews explanations - at last the one who writes the code has an advantage :) I'd like to have this issue on our agenda, maybe we'll rethink the decision, maybe we'll find a better solution - maybe user feedback will help to make the decision! Therefor, I'd like to get a 5.2 version done. Yes there i no "logic" - misworded on my side. Question has been, can we shrink moddb.lrp to a placeholder with zero bytes until it's needed (removed modules.sqfs)? Andrew stated that it could be useful for systems where the modules.sqfs does not fit.
