I'm not sure what you mean. My box supports lots of settings, so I'm
confident that it will pass through all required data. But how do I make
owserver talk to the TCP port it provides? ser2net seems to provide the
same service as my precidia box, so how could I use owserver with ser2net?

I'm using self-made DS2480B serial adaptors and got hold of a
Serial-to-Ethernet (TCP/IP) box (Precidia Ether232). Is anybody here using
such a box together with owfs (owserver)?
The box listens on a freely defined tcp port to forward data between the
PC and the serial device.
