hum, you must check if your serial-ethernet allow change o baud rate, rts, cts, etc... using only one port, this is the 'telnet' protocol in raw mode for example, you will never change baud rate, only changing parameters of box, or a file... with 'telnet' protocol you can change it without disconnecting and changing a file or a webpage... do you have the manual or datashhet of your serial-ethertnet box?
