I think that the qooxdoo needs similar architecture like all other JS libraries. I'm experienced developer in many programming languages and I hate to use qooxdoo generator. The reason I choose qooxdoo is very simple - in few days I was able to build qooxdoo-all-in-one (in fact the 0.7 version contained this so I just used the same idea for 0.8+). So my advise to spread qooxdoo is "make it simple": 1. Download 2, Include js+resources 3. Run jQuery was also mentioned here. Personally I think that architecture of jQuery is bad, but it is so simple to include/use it in any project. So many "web developers" and "SEO experts" can use it without problems, because it just works and thanks to community there are zillion of usable extensions. In summary: 1. I think that qooxdoo integration should be simple like other libs; 2. Size of community is important (bug reports, contributions, maturity); 3. Look of GUI is important (not website, modern theme should be redesigned).
