Hi all,
As I was on the Dante 2010 meeting and as I could not access my
mail last week, today I ran into the long thread about
documentation. I will not reply to each mail but stick to this
summary. Now, I understand that there is a lack of documentation
but before one complains too loud about it, consider the
following:

\startitem We started with \CONTEXT\ in the early 90's and it went
public around 1995. So, we're 15 years down the road. Whatever
comment one has on the system, including its documentation, has to
be seen into this light: we're looking back at over 15 years of
development and ahead at quite some more. \stopitem
\startitem In all those years we've been writing a lot of code,
not only for our own use, but also for users. Just to mention a
few areas: specific language and font support is non trivial in
traditional \TEX\ and took quite some time and backends change and
being involved in the development also brings a price (in many
aspects). \stopitem
\startitem What started a system for our own use, is now used by
others as well, and this brings not only the responsibility to fix
bugs fast but also to monitor lists etc.\ Add to that quite some
involvement in \TEX\ user groups, conferences, writing articles
etc.\ In the process we also happen to come up with some manuals.
Just wonder for a while where I find the time to do my regular
work (the work that pays the bills). \stopitem
\startitem Even an old manual can quite well describe
functionality as much didn't change. It's only with \MKIV\ that
some compatibility is dropped and only for obscure features. Of
course I could trick users by regenerating a manual with a newer
date. I often use the excellent book \quote {\TEX\ by Topic} which
is already quite old and does not cover \ETEX, \PDFTEX, \LUATEX\
or whatever but what is told in it is still true. I never look at
it thinking it being old. \stopitem
\startitem As one can visually get all kind of output and as
typographical elements can interfere the ultimate manual would
show $n!$ variants and become quite unreadable. There is no easy
way out of this. For other languages there's a lot of code
googlable but I find myself always writing from scratch as each
case seems to be different. Of course printed manuals can be of
help (the \LUA\ book being a very good example of a manual) but
writing one takes time. \stopitem
\startitem More documentation would not help all users. Some are
better of with a simple manual and some occasional help on the
list. I've been using all kind of programming languages and the
fact that some have huge (auto generated) documentation systems is
no guarantee that they can be used. I find myself quite often just
look in the source to see what is (not) happening and then
probably feel as confused as users looking into \CONTEXT\ sources.

\startitem There are quite some options that were never meant for
usage beyond our own, but as we ship the full product, they become
visible. No, they are not documented apart from the source. Yes,
if useful they should be documented but why by me? \stopitem
\startitem Any comparison with \LATEX\ documentation is useless.
One reason for starting to write \CONTEXT\ is that I didn't
understand the \LATEX\ book that well as well as that for proper
non English usage one had to patch unreadable code. When \CONTEXT\
came around the internet and mail were already replacing articles
and books. Just look at how the content in user group journals
changed from beginners explanations to more expert and niche
topics. Also, the fact that new books about \LATEX\ are still
written means that there is no perfect one yet. If you ever run
into one of the authors of the companions, just ask them how much
time it took \unknown\ close to a lifetime I bet. \stopitem
\startitem There was some comment on me being the only developer.
This might be true to a large extend but Taco, Wolfgang, Aditya,
Mojca, Luigi (I mention just a few currently active developers and
feel sorry for those I forget so feel free to amend me) know their
way around the source quite well and contribute patches too. We
don't have a formal team (as that would introduce the problem of
adding|/|removing active members and I like to be more informal
and users on the list know pretty well who are contributors.

\startitem There is no real cutting|-|out going on, it's just the
way it evolved. On the other hand, as I use the system myself I
would probably quit using it if anyone could push in code. It's
hard to keep \TEX\ doing what you want it to do and breaking it is
too easy due to interference. So, developers need some feeling
about what side effects can occur. Even then we see bugs creep in.

I get this error, when compiling my product. When components are compiled
one by one, there is no such error.
I use pre-stepwise. Without this module, there is no such error.
I would like to help, finding the reason for the problem, but the last
time, I've spent more than 2 hours to build a minimal example.
So, I would be glad, if there are other, not so time consuming ways, to
track down the problem.
If there is no other way, I'll build a minimal example of course.

my guess is that t-vim is doing something funny with catcodes and that
can interfere with pagebreaks and the pagebuilding
normally codes are reset when the otr is invoked
so, indeed we need a small example

This will not affect me much since I use standard Windows fonts and sometimes Adobe. But the poor thing is that ConTeXt will not work with Cyrillic out of the box anymore. Nevertheless, as I already mentioned, wiki.contextgarden.net/Russian shows examples with TeX Gyre fonts and it is worth to update them (I'm now working on that). However, since we count Cyrillic users using fingers of one hand :), I think you can drop old Gyre fonts and don't bother yourself with it. Anyone will seek another solution, and Gyre fonts never was of top quality, IMHO. I doubt that quality appears with beginning of a font. Don't forget about many another users which what to use Cyrillic script but doesn't have MS or Adobe fonts (like me, I don't have any product from MS so don't have they fonts or Adobe ones, Yes I took MS fonts from machines with MS OS installed but this is illegal, Yes I could download Adobe fonts from internet using P2P but this is illegal too). I'm trying to compile a product of a complex structure (env +
project + product).
- My useMPgraphics are included in a product using input

OK but I have english labels (Content, Chapter...) instead of french
ones (obviously).
If I comment out *only* useencoding[ffr], metapost's processing
areOK but horizontal spacing for punctation are not OK (i.e. with
respect to french typographic standards).
My question is : how I can obtain french labels + french punctuation
SIMULTANEOUSLY ;)
I use the up-to-date context/metapost from minimals... And I can't
use MK IV since I need t-vim...
(useencoding[ffr] is not known by MK IV as typeSTUFF from t-vim)

I am trying to define a command for inner products. I would like to
type $\innerprod{x, y}$ and obtain in the output x, y. Now, I
defined
\define[2]\innerprod
{\langle #1, #2 \rangle}
but then, when I used the command, I got some weird behavior: the next
character after y would jump in the inner product. For example,
when writing
$\innerprod{x, y} + z$
I was hoping to obtain as an output
x, y + z
But I got as an output
x, y + z
I am using the ConTeXt that came with MacTeX 2008 (I downloaded it a
few days ago).

or something like

This doesn't prevent the fact that ConTeXt that came with it is old ;) :) :)
But keep using it as long as it works for you. If you will ever need
some kind of support (fixing a bug) then you'll probably need to
switch to a newer version of ConTeXt.
MacTeX 2009 is out already (for testing), but that doesn't make much
difference (last time when I checked ConTeXt has not been updated in
TeX Live yet ... and I wonder what exactly will be done; the version
of LuaTeX that comes with TeX Live is not compatible with current
version of ConTeXt; and pdftex version is considered history ... That
means that no matter what version of ConTeXt will be used for TL, it
will be either too old and unsupported or disfunctional.)

[NTG-context] Inter-document Cross References
I am trying to create cross references that span two documents, but am having trouble figuring out exactly how to generate PDFs where the cross references from one document to the other work. I'm following the project/product/component structure and my two documents are each a product in the same project. I normally run texexec from within the product directory, when I try running it from the project directory there is no output. Is it possible to have documents reference each other in this way? Why piece am I missing? I've looked through the documentation, wiki, google, this list, etc and I'm either searching for the wrong thing or there is nothing written about it. I checked many time and didn't find anything. Works OK for me but I found a few you could/should change. 1. Don't use project files as top level file for your document, use product and components (which can be nested) files only, projects are meta file when you have many document with the same topic (e.g. a magazine etc.) A magazine is really one of my purposes. :) 2. You can write \usepath[kaka,leasure] in your environment files and write in test.tex \component leasure \component kaka ConTeXt looks now in both directories for the files leasure.tex and kaka.tex but take care to use unique filenames. After adding \usepath[kaka,leasure], the texts in \component present, but, as the caution you mentioned, since I have two files with the same name, i.e. mytime.tex, only the file in kaka/ is added and is added twice. Although \usepath can partly solve my problem, it limits flexibility. Most Windows users can handle the installation bit, if it is like installing for example Adobe Acrobat Reader. I.e. I'm looking for something like the Notepad related free/shareware html editors that highlight but don't have much brain otherwise - while I use SciTe for my html work, my colleague has been happy with Notepad-something-or-other (and that finally rescued me and our code from the clutches of FrontPage). 2 out of 7 is not what I was hoping for... I assume these were your agents or similar (rather than professional translators)? If so that is how we were hoping to do it too. Correct. One of those two has some background in programming, so he even managed the first chapter with Notepad (or something similar), also he whined that it was difficult without highlighting. The other one was an elderly consultant who may have dealt with computers in the time when text editing/layouting still involved similar coding. Or then he was just used to taking on any job that falls his way, at least he managed beautifully. All or most of the others are marketing people who take one look at the editing instructions and give up. This happened even in-house where I would have been easy to reach for any help and even offered to install the system on his computer. No hope (I was reasonably annoyed with this one, cutting-and-pasting that language took me like three weeks...). The funniest (but sad) thing is that after they give up on .tex, I also offer to convert the graphics into formats that will be easy to insert into Word if they want to do a translation of their own, but they've *never* taken me up on that offer yet. Instead they apparently just cut and paste the graphics from our official pdf and the result is usually not as good quality as it would have been with the stuff I send. The one I'm now working on is pretty sad. Although not as sad as the 20 meg version I received a year earlier that had tracking on, too (thankfully Word2007 now has an easy cleaning function with which I got rid of the 10 megs of revisions). I was going to try saving the tex original as .doc - word seems to open it OK - and then saving *their* end product as encoded text/UTF8. Has anyone tried this? I think I tried this with the Russian test file and it worked, but I can retry (I've got Word 2003). The very important bit is to choose encoded text as save format - it allows you to do plain text + UTF8, but the file just isn't saved as UTF8 (confusing or what). Been there, done that Also, the tip I got here for a character converter, charsc, was pretty good. Can't quite figure out the command line version, but I can get it to work if I know the original encoding (it couldn't guess at Windows-Cyrillic, IsoLatin1 went better). As my editing instructions say, you really have to have all AutoXxx features turned off or your tex code can get pretty fishy. In the worst case the autocorrect features do things to your parentheses and even in the best case you get to fight with things like ... turning into real ellipsis and possibly getting mussed up later in conversion. If you can talk your translators into using WordPad instead (if they are not up to trying SciTe), it will make your life easier in the long run. *you* can still open the resulting

(We don't do consumer electronics, so regulations are a bit different than for stuff you buy in a shop.) So over these years I've dealt with repeating please send us the manual as Word file for translation queries. Every time I've explained in words of one syllable that there's is and will not be a Word file, that the distributed manual file has origins in a totally different system. We stopped using Word when the file grew so big that Word just couldn't cope and when most of the figures to be included were pdf anyway and thus easily incorporated into ConTeXt files. I always offer to send the potential translators the files and the editing instructions and say that I can do a pdf out of the translated files any time, for example after each chapter. (BTW, if you'd like my editing instructions, I have them somewhere in rtf format.) Certainly, if it is convenient, thank you. The reactions to the above information vary. A South American professional translator took the files without whining and turned in the translated Spanish text with only *two* messed up codes - which is a lot less of a mess than I do when editing. The French gave up directly; they supposedly have a Word version of their own of the manual and so do the Poles. Three other languages were written in Word (or similar) and I had all the fun in cutting-and-pasting the text into the ConTeXt files. Italian was first done with cut-and-paste method, but then needed so much work that to my surprise they edited the ConTeXt files for me with a very good result - that's probably the most accurate translation of the whole lot. 2 out of 7 is not what I was hoping for... I assume these were your agents or similar (rather than professional translators)? If so that is how we were hoping to do it too. The Russian version of our manual is in the works. They wanted to do it all by themselves, but I haven't heard anything since I debugged their last file (encoding problem, Win-cyrillic to UTF). I hope that means everything is under control there... Although there's no reason I could not tell them to use Scite or similar. What I had from the beginning is a system where each chapter of the manual is a file of its own - makes it much easier to handle. Most of the formatting and setups is in the main file, so the chapters just contain list of figures and then the text itself. This makes them much easier to edit and handle. I was going to have a single environment file, which the translators never see, then a *single* document file. But perhaps separate chapters would be better... My document is not so big, maybe 30 pages of text (plenty of screen captures too). So perhaps my document is like one of your chapters. But there could be several other documents in the pipeline, so am trying to come up with a workable approach. When I started getting the languages, I made subdirectories for them, one per language. This is where I put the tex files for that language + all the figures that have translated text in them; ConTeXt will look first in the same directory and then further afield, so if there's a translated figure, it will get used. [NTG-context] processing a file of figures
I am working on a book in which the figures are to appear in a separate section at the end. Is there a good way to do this? Right now I have a file which is a sequence of commands, e.g., \useexternalfigure[Graphic][... \placefigure[... \useexternalfigure[Graphic][... \placefigure[... where each figure is assigned its own page. The problem is that, while I can process this file by itself, when it is part of product file (this file and others are components), strange things occur. (Basically it seems that ConTeXt has problems with the running heads used throughout the book, and with finishing the file.) But before going into this, I was wondering if perchance there is a better way to get ConText to process a file that is no more than sequence of figures. I am using the latest ConTeXt and MkII. However, I followed you're lead and changed core-job.lua and it works! Yes
the footnotes come out.
New problem (also happens on MkII), if there are a lot of end notes, instead
of going to the next page after the first page is filled, they go to the
bottom of the first page and dissappear off the bottom. The page count
appears to be correct, but the notes are the second page.
How to I get the footnotes (end notes) to appear on more than one page. I'm
using footnote/placefootnotes combination to product the end notes.

I updated context and grepped mtxrun for noquotes and the output is
same as yours.

Yes. The 2context.vim script generates filename.ext-vimsyntax.tmp file. I
am at a loss of understanding what is happening here.
Run
context --verbose filename
and check the output for something like
MtxRun | executing: vim -u NONE -e -C -n -c set
tabstop=8 -c syntax on -c s
et syntax=cpp -c let contextstartline=1 -c let contextstopline=0 -c
source
/opt/context/tex/texmf-project/tex/context/third/vim/2context.vim -c

Run this line on your terminal (in a single line) and see what vim does.

I get the error : I can't find file xyz-vimsyntax.tmp-vimsyntax.tmp temmfstart bin:vim starts vim. vim is in the path. I am using Windows Vista with Texlive 2008. The new version uses mtxrun. I have only tested it on linux, but Hans tested mtxrun on Windows, so the new version should work on Vista. I can solve the problem in my own ways with some weird macros, like

thing is that it needs to be flexible enough, so that I don't need to
change every single article in case that I decide to move images or
articles to another location in project.)

I'm just wondering if there's some recipe about how to simplify the
work when icluding other files and images in projects, when one is
compiling from different folders.
For example:
articles/08/01/art-one.tex (product)
articles/08/01/art-two.tex (product)
articles/08/02/art-three.tex (product)
articles/08/02/art-four.tex (product)
articles/08/magazine_2008.tex (product)
components/funny.tex (component)
img/08/01/img-1.png

There was also problem with maybe year. If I had 2000a and 2000b in the bib file, but only referred to 2000b in the thesis, the year came out as 2000b rather than 2000. For this I had a lot of help with your doc Using \startalign and friends, thank you. No problem in defining and using it with ConTeXt. * The bibliography uses Taco's module. I am happy of being able to have different bibliographies in one file. * As a mathematician I was a bit tired of the computer modern fonts (I really like them, but I see them to often), so I decided to go with the utopia/fourier fonts. This forced me to work with mkii, since I did not get these fonts to work with mkiv (This is still a problem, I am not sure how to go on with it for future documents). * Typesetting math worked very smoothly. There is one place where I hade to add some negative vertical space (I could not reproduce this in a minimal file). * I'm very happy with the way MetaPost and ConTeXt work together. * The presentation is inspired by Thomas A. Just to be clear, \mytitle is defined by \getparameters in my
environment file -- 'env-test'. The product 'prd-test' includes the
component 'cmp-test'. The problem only occurs when ConTeX tries to
build the product, not the component. What is it about the
relationship between the product and component that cuases the
trouble?
it might depend on the order, i.e. when the need is there to load the
tuo file, the \mytitle might not be defined yet; make sure you load the
env as soon as possible

I'd appreciated some help with the following problem. How can I stop
the following code generating an error on calling \placecontent from a
product?
In the test case I have files: env-test, prd-test, cmp-test.

I have tried wrapping the call to \chapter in \expanded. Hans, also
suggested that here: www.ntg.nl/maps/20/12.pdf
Unfortunately doesn't seem to work. I think the problem occurs in the
final run of TeXexec, whilst finalising the ToC.
Is it something to do with the .tuo file?

Just to be clear, \mytitle is defined by \getparameters in my
environment file -- 'env-test'. The product 'prd-test' includes the
component 'cmp-test'. The problem only occurs when ConTeX tries to
build the product, not the component. What is it about the
relationship between the product and component that cuases the
trouble?

I was attracted to ConTeXt partly because at first sight the interface looked promisingly clean and orthogonal. But the fact that only Hans Taco can document ConTeXt for users and that all kind of secret workarounds are needed to make it work seems to indicate that assessment was wrong. - Documentation *could* be maintained and updated by someone outside of the small group, *IF* there was a reasonably up-to-date base of correct and complete documentation for them to start from. Currently, there is no such thing. Even that would not work because such a documentation maintainer would not be able to keep up with finding out what changed. You know what is funny and telling? Hans co quite recently produced a detailed, well written 158(!)-page document about the change from ConTeXt MkII to MkIV. This is documentation (promised to be kept up to date) about the technical process of developing ConTeXt/LUATeX. About how it works, about technical issues regarding speed etc. Most of it will be for ever hidden from and not interesting for ConTeXt users. 158 pages. That is book sized! For intermediary documentation of an ongoing technical development process. See: http://www.pragma-ade.com/general/manuals/mk.pdf There is no reason for a project to be frozen to create documentation. What is needed is that the developers accept that user documentation is as important as technical documentation and technical work. The developers currently see user documentation as a waste of time, because they do not need it themselves, they 'should do that when the development is finished'. What it actually means is that they like technical work far more than documentation work. So, technical work will for ever get a higher priority above user documentation work. And there will always be technical work that needs to be done before the nasty task of creating proper documentation is taken up. Concurrently, the technical work itself is indeed in many places unfinished, half, etc., mainly those places that the developers themselves are not interested in as users or where they know about workarounds and hacks. Writing user documentation in fact forces the developers to end that state of affairs and forces them not only to do documentation work (which they do not like) but it also forces them to do technical work in areas they do not like nor find interesting for their own uses. Hence, again, the assessment that ConTeXt is a personal swiss army tool for a few people. I am really wondering these days. Is there a serious stable and usable (and supported) alternative for TeX for large projects, with many cross references, footnotes, endnotes, etc. etc.? [NTG-context] End notes and compile per chapter question
I have a book project with a structure I copied a few years ago from
some instructional page. The product file looks like this:

This works, but if I compile c_chapter1.tex, I do not get the endnotes
of the chapter.
How do I go about it that when compiling per chapter, I get the
endnotes for that chapter at the end of that file, while when
compiling the entire book they go at the end of the book as they should?

Compared to the above this seems a minor gain though. Unfortunately, these chaps haven't read their Duden Band 1, Die Deutsche Rechtschreibung. I checked their examples against it and they are quite in error at times. That makes it notoriously difficult to figure out the proper from the improper. So they theoretically could have a good product and asked someone to go cheap on producing the PDF. Goodness knows, you wouldn't believe how many PhD's put their names on stuff that their research beetles really wrote. Still, it reflects poorly and hurts their business. I'd say that if they don't have their act together, let the free market sort it out. I can hyphenate all sorts of languages in Ubuntu just fine. [NTG-context] Empty page at the end of document
After reading Wiki and searching this list I still have problems with the additional empty page appearing at the end of my document. This only happens when that said extra page would make the document to have even number of pages but as my document is meant to be singlesided I see no reason why it would be required to have an even number of pages. That's one of the things that drove my personal computing away from Windows to Linux/FreeBSD. I was using an English firm's Creative Suite knock-off product (Serif) and realized that their business plan called for making shoddy products and substituting version bumps for bugfixes. I can only bleed so much to sate someone's greed and I found OSS to be far friendlier regarding version compatibility, bugfixes and robustness. AFAIK no real pressure for a compatibility mode exists in the commercial DTP sector. senecadesign.com has good InCopy resources and archives. [NTG-context] fonts and typescripts
Thanks, Wolfgang. Now it's all good. Typescripts are a little opaque to me. I need to learn a lot more, to be sure. I want to thank the ConTeXt team for the great work on the product and the docs. I do respect that TeX has a culture and one cannot design a product that is alien to that. I have some thoughts where a few spots in the docs could be friendlier for someone coming from a standpoint of general design and typography. Sort of like here's how you think with DTP and here's how it's done in ConTeXt. I might also suggest a couple of features; I was, however, able to Google for much that I needed (e.g., with character spacing). Yet I'm not one to just butt into people's workflow, given their time and investment. In general I find ConTeXt to be superior in many regards for my needs. Unfortunately, I am not a scientist. I have a bachelor's degree in computer science with a minor in Germanistik, and I have two master's degrees in theology, having studied in Germany and the US. So I want to edit books that celebrate the history of thought and typography. ConTeXt is the best positioned to make beautiful, modern books, surpassing many generally available commercial products. Here's an interesting point: InDesign creates ligatures, but irrespective of what is going on in the actual font. So, unless you use Unicode Greek, Hebrew, Syriac, Arabic, or whatever, the older style fonts that still inhabit the commercial multilingual industry get mangled. TeX and friends are smart and don't do that. They can handle some complicated typography more robustly than many others. InDesign and InCopy use a version control system where one can check out, check in, and track changes in a parallel workflow. Grep searching has also been integrated. It seems to me that if something like Scribus had a means to interlink with ConTeXt, cvs / svn or the like, and had a means of automatically generating code and previews, you would have a typesetting system that could compete feature for feature with InDesign and InCopy, and surpass it in some cases. [NTG-context] Ramistic schemata
Greetings,
I have been using ConTeXt since April, plain TeX since March, and
LaTeX/LyX for about a year. I have been working on multilingual texts
and, until the recent permutations of Word, no WYSIWYG product, with the
possible exception of Mellel for Hebrew, did any good job. Now I don't
like WYSIWYG anymore but use such products for work.
I have been able to create near-optimal reproductions of Ramistic
schemata using ConTeXt because the \showboxes toggle is most helpful in
showing where I need to put whitespace. The following may indeed be
crude, i.e., not computing box height and other sophisticated stuff, but
I'm a n00b and have not read the TeXbook through, although that and TeX
by topic are both a vade mecum.
Here's the code, FWIW. Use it as you like. It started out as plain TeX
using Kile on Ubuntu, migrated to ConTeXt in TeXshop/MacTeX, and came
back to Kile after I found an xml file for katepart that allowed for
proper syntax highlighting.

I never used URW Garamond, so I can't really advise you on some fitting sans. It depends what you intend to typeset in what face (e.g. only titlings in sans, body text in serif?). It also depends on the subject of your product - novels, science books, lifestyle magazines, product brochures etc. need a different style. Perhaps try if you like Frutiger, Optima (URW Classico), URW Grotesk, Myriad or even Helvetica (TeXGyre Heros). If you need it only for titlings, perhaps you'll like Clearface Gothic, FF Unit, Benguiat Gothic... It's really a matter of taste. (Most of the mentioned fonts are commercial, of course.) [NTG-context] LuaTeX problems with \seeindex and \from
Hi,
this is my first posting to this list but I'm following it through the
archives for quite a long time.
First I would like to thank the list for this huge archive. By reading
the documentation and searching this archive most of my questions
about ConTeXt where answered. I searched for these problems but couldn't
find anything.
Now to my question: I was generating my documents with XeTeX until I
switched to LuaTeX and MKIV a few days ago. After I changed my
typescripts almost everything worked perfectly but the commands
\seeindex[]{}{} and \from[].
1) \seeindex simply doesn't seem to work. The index is generated but all
\seeindex entries are missing. It works perfectly when generated with
'texexec --xtx'. Generating the document with \version[temporary] shows
in the margin ' i Indexentry' and ' see Showindexentry' so it seems
that both entries are ok. I set up the register with
'\completeindex[interaction=text,align=yes]'
Is this a bug or are \seeindex entries handled different with LuaTeX?
2) The other problem took me quite some time to find out. When I create
the document with 'texexec --lua' LuaTeX it seems that everything runs
fine but no document is generated. There are no error messages even
with '--verbose' set - at least I couldn't see any. Finally I found out
that 'luatex' crashed during 'LuaTools | running command: luatex --fmt'
(see the CrashReporter log at the end of the mail).
I started to leave out all components of the product and started just
with the title page, then included chapter after chapter until I found
out the LuaTeX crashes when I leave the command \from[] in. I defined
the URL with \useURL[apache][http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi] and
am using it in the document with \from[apache].
Here are the versions I'm using.
