A friend just confirmed to me yesterday that the special characters bug
(under WIndows) exists in cvs too. He was unable to select a DP with
special characters in its path. I tried here on Linux, things seemed ok...
Can anyone check? because, if I can't reproduce to bug, I can't even find

Just checked back. The .dll is from Dec 19 and the bug was fixed on Jan 4!
Then a memleak was fixed after this change, so I think we DO need a new

Known bug, it has been reported on the forums. It seems to be related to
the registry entry to start aMSN when Windows starts up.
Since you have a Windows machine, can you test where this comes from?
Activate/deactivate Start aMSN on Windows startup and see what happens.

The bug about default smilies replacing inside custom ones when they
shouldn't is fixed in the CVS version of aMSN.
The bug about case-sensitive smileys shouldn't exist in 0.95, I just took
a look at the code and tested myself. Maybe you have an earlier version of
aMSN ?

Then the problem is your HDD, not updatedb :P mine just takes long and I
usually run it manually when I'm about to leave. At the lab I run it with
