ah, well you could use jaws, it still works there on eBay (I don't use
facebook so can't comment on them), you could update to windows 7 which
is
not that hard to learn and can
if you have the ports on your router for it, that would be the really nice
way to do it, since that makes it universal instead of tied to one computer.
and although I can understand Norman's aversion to wire's going all over
the place I still value my networks speed over the trouble with
the first thing I would do is go to the two sites listed below, download the
fast acting anti-virus apps available there and run them:
first is stinger at:
http://www.mcafee.com/apps/free-tools/termsofuse.aspx?url=/us/downloads/free
-tools/stinger.aspx
and the other is Microsoft's safety
the other thing I would suggest is running a repair on jaws

I have the names of a couple others that are accessible, one is a freebee,
the other is a paid for professional recovery software kit complete with
coach to assist you through learning how to use it!
if you wind up needing either just give me a shout and I'll pass them along
inthane
version of these
instructions with you while running one of my XP machines concurrently.
and if your on win 7 can accommodate that as well, since two machines here
run it
