You are going to have to learn how to time the laser bursts. What I do
is to save after passing each laser trap.
Also, there's a very annoying part where you have to complete a puzzle
that gives you--temporary--immunity to lasers. Without the immunity,
there is a place that you cannot pass
I had this issue too; Aaron--or whomever did his writing/quest
design--forgot to put some linking text in that would direct you to
your next objective.
Remember that area you had to traverse to get to the mechanical city?
There is a machine there that you need to go investigate. Be warned

The mini games are far more annoying than the movement nonsense.

A trick you will want to learn is to follow walls rather than
sprinting through the middle of an area. Sometimes you have to do the
