Well, I broke a pin off the SCSI connector and am sending it for repair
in oregon so I'll have to wait for it to get back to work on the soudn
problem but will try another speaker befoer asking again ;-)

I noticed the older floppy drives in my compacts don't read disks hardly
at all, I think they need a cleaning? I found somewhere a link to mac
daniels article on how to clean them but aparently the article has been

know I need the cable to connect an external monitor to it, but can it
make the internal monitor display greyscale?

I checked out the SE/30 and Classic, the SE/30 has a Radius card in the
upgrade slot, it says on a label on it 256K or somehting ruther, I closed
it up and forgot exactly what it said, does anyone know what this card is
or what I need to get you guys to find out? The SE/30 has 5 MB of RAM,
I figured it out, the card in my SE/30 is a Radius Pivot card, although,
I have no idea what it does, it apparently is some kind of video card,
but there is no external connector to connect an external monitor and hte
one in my SE/30 only does black or white, right?

I picked up a MAC SE compact mac, it has the internal HDD and the Floppy
drive, both seem to work, it has OS 6.0 on it I think, is there anything

does anyone know of any CDROM that would work with a Mac SE, I want to
upgrade it to system 7.5.5, but I have the OS on a CD, I could copy the
CD to my Power Center Pro and hook it up to the Mac SE using the Printer
ports and apple talk I think, will try, but a CD would be nice ;-)
