The kde examples are really old and outdated and does not reflect how packages
are supposed to look today.
It is better not to ship them and let people use the standard binary
templates.

Thanks for the patch Cyril. I spotted one occurrence in

Steinar,
Thanks for your patience and for your upload.

Hi,
Please find attached the French debconf templates translation, proofread
by the debian-l10n-french mailing list contributors.
This file should be put as debian/po/fr.po in your package build tree.

Please find attached patch to fix that.
It would also be nice if you can ask upstream

This bug isn't actually fixed. The NMUed gsfonts-x11 package does run the
correct update commands for the new directory, but the reason gsfonts-x11 is
breaking people's fonts is that it's failing to clean up after itself in the
*old* directory -- leaving a fonts.dir
I understand and agree with the reasoning behind removing the GPL as
the invariant section; but why also remove the GFDL as an invariant
section?

This bug is my fault as I submitted the lockold patch and thought
I had it tested. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
I think adding lockold to BSD and memtest is good.
Please consider the attached patch as well. It also fixes the
