I still suspect a bug because NONE of the Recommends on or Depends packages
for gnuplot are shown as being installed
Maybe I'm overlooking something, but have you started/booted your image and

Suggestion: maybe this bug should be moved to xserver-xorg-core package?
First try if you can reproduce it with a free driver (f.e. nouveau)

Normally I'd use severity wishlist for a request for a new version.
But Bluez5 dropped support for HSP and HFP profiles since it should
apparently be implemented in ofono [1].
Since the current version of PulseAudio is 5.x this means that only

Severity: important
When trying to ping an address, like debian.org, with busybox-static you
get a ping: bad address 'debian.org' error.
I knew that version 1.22.0-6 of busybox-static was working, so I also
downloaded version 1.22.0-7 and 1.22.0-8 and

It's not just limited to amd64, since I encountered the issue on raspbian for

When specifying --debug or --verbose as parameters, it changes the amount of

Grepping /etc/mime.types turned out there is no entry for xz files, which

According to http://filext.com/file-extension/XZ the mime type for xz
files is application/x-xz.

There is no such package nvidia-kernel-3.14-2-amd64 in jessie.
See https://packages.qa.debian.org/n/nvidia-graphics-modules.html on why it
hasn't migrated to jessie/testing yet.

I had the problem of missing window decorations too and also other
functionality of kwin stopped working (right-click menu, Alt+mouse for
dragging windows).
I upgraded with aptitude safe-upgrade and that turned out to be not enough.
By doing an aptitude full-upgrade, the packages libegl1-nvidia

By doing an aptitude full-upgrade, the packages libegl1-nvidia and
libnvidia- eglcore got installed and that fixed the problem for me.

This _is_ a glibc problem, and it can be trivially demonstrated by writing
a tiny program that calls, say, getaddrinfo() on its argument. When built
statically it always returns NOTFOUND, without any attempt to load any
