Just a quick query regarding xload - when attempting to run xload, I get
the error 'xload: can't load library 'libXaw.so.6''. This library exists
in /usr/X11R6/lib and is a link to libXaw.so.6.1 (in the same directory),
which also exists. Any idea??

Does anyone have a filter for this printer (Lexmark 1020)?
The magicfilter package doesn't support it although I can get basic
(mono/text) output using any of the deskjet filters.
I know that this is a pretty cheap and nasty printer, but it serves my
needs :^)

No, chipset has a nil effect. Archictecutre is entirely todo with the CPU.
The OS architecture refers to the processor architecture that code has been
compiled to run on. Anything chipset related is handled by hardware drivers
and HAL (hardware abstraction layer).

kernel and it works fine. There appears to have been more than one release
of this sound card, so you might want to try the es1371 if the es1370
doesn't work.

I have a question regarding the installation of Linux on an Apple PowerBook running a G3. I read through the "Installing on a PowerPC" but did not find any information on how to make Linux the ONLY OS on the computer. I do not want OS9.x on it, I need Linux. I have had many problems with booting

however I can find no documentation on the syntax of this scripting
language other than the actual code itself (which as ever, is woefully
lacking comments).

Yes it is possible, theres various devices on the market todo it.
There is one big catch, you only usually get 10 meg links. Also the
devices are hard to find, I know the one I got (which I am not using
because it didn't work in the UK!), is 10 meg, but links to the
computer via USB.
