Can you please be specific about which HW mods you installed? Are they all
published by Elecraft? I don't recall any 1st and 2nd Mixer mods being
published. If not, can you please share them?
Are the software mods in the current beta FW, i.e. 3.30?

I had this problem long ago; a reload of the firmware AND the data tables
cured it. The trick was the data tables
-quality set-up that outperforms the
name ham brand for less than half the price, particularly combined with the
K3's TX EQ which can tailor the response as you like for rag-chews or
serious DX.

the K3 as the amp
keying voltage is not compatible with the K3. I used a simple 12V reed
relay powered from the K3 12V RCA jack.

If I recall correctly (traveling to Orlando), I use the Y cable provided by
Elecraft to connect the KAT500 and the KPA500 which are stacked. One
connector of the Y remains unconnected. I can provide more detail on
