Tim, I was rather thinking of connecting the output of the (my) SCS modem to the Flex and have the best of both worlds. Also in maritime mobile application, it sure would enhance e-mail access, given the superior attributes of the Flex system. Just thinking out loud. 73, Peter NH6VB

I'm reading everything I can find but haven't found an answer yet to audio dropping out every few seconds. Must be something in Windows 7 that's running in the background? Any thoughts appreciated. Running Flex 1500, Windows 7, HP PC. Didn't have this issue yesterday! Best regards, Peter
