Hi there, I have KDE 3.4.1 here, and I am having issues with KDE. I recently tried that GLOcean window decoration. When I first applied the decoration, KWin crashed. I thought it was nothing, so I restarted KDE, (and X). But now, KDE will load about 3 quarters, and then hang. I switched to another

I have noticed in the last couple days that rolling the wheel on my mouse is not scrolling through webpages or email. I checked my /etc/X11/xorg.conf and it had not been changed. Just to be sure it is not a broken mouse I booted into Mandrake and tested it there, mouse scrolled like a charm.

According to the man xorg.conf the search paths are different depending who is starting X. If X is started by a user the search paths are not as extensive as if X is started by root. If root was the one to start X then it could be able to pick up the xorg.conf I had stashed in the / folder.
