Loveland, CO or just ran identical programming logs. I heard an ID on 1630
this morning that included KVAM and it's FM translator. Soi that answers

KFIR is competing against WGN Chicago here at my QTH in Laramie, WY. IT
wouldnt do that if it were on night power, I don't think. I've never heard
KFIR until this week when it may have been at day power earlier this week
as well. It's been heard by a few DX'ers in other parts of the country.
FYI:
anyone hearing this? Several dxers in Michigan and Ontario have, but no

After KKOB 770 began simulcasting on a full power 96.3 FM, the former 94.5
translator was re-purposed. They dropped syndicated talk on 1050 KTBL and

talking in Japanese, I think. Had to reduce audio bandwidth to 3khz and it
was still a bit hard to hear getting splattered a bit by KNZR and XERF. I

KMMJ-AM 750 Grand Island, NE is licensed as “Limited Hours” and I was
curious what exactly this meant. I inquired, a search of FCC
History/Archived Records was made and yielded this answer:
Way back on September 19, 1968, KMMJ was issued a telegram for presunrise
authority to commence operation
I have not heard a signal from them all morning and even before sunrise,
theyd be audible here in Laramie, WY 150 miles away. Two friends in Denver
say they dont hear the station and one friend reported hearing KDCE

I should add I have a fairly clear KCAP Helena, MT with KDCE under them at
my location.

I was tuned to 880khz this morning at 5:58am mountain in Laramie, WY and
heard some music bubbling under Rodney Zeigler's 50KW Blowtorch, KRVN 880

I heard from someone at Entravision Communications who says " KMXA is
running reduced hours and reducing power at night. I was told this is true
of all Entravision AM stations across the country. Not sure of the
reason(s)"

It's also not KFNQ, they haven't dropped sports and when I heard KMXA last
night before sunset, they were still very much "Jose".. spanish music.
