Here's a video of the spot where I DX and how I have things set up:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ny4Rzt2h3g
I had nothing from HLAZ 1566 or JOLF 1244 in Tokyo.. Pyongyang was missing
on 657 and 873.
I did hear Aussies talkers on 1134, 1152 and 1215.
1134khz audio:

My three favorite TP loggings form Alaska so far would have to be AFN The
Eagle 810, 50kw from Yokota Air Base Japan, AFN The Eagle 1575 5kw from
Misawa Air Base Japan and V7AB 1098 13kw from The Marshall Islands
In the first instance of logging AFN The Eagle 1575 on November 14th, it
happened
Now, someones pulled a rabbit out of their hat and suggested that the 1215
I heard was not ABC Midwest & Wheatbelt's 6NM Northam, but possibly
NewsTalk ZB from New Zealand on 1215khz.

Well, in -18 below (windchil of like -25) the Grundig drifts badly and the
Lowe HF225 keypad stops responding and tuning on the dial is seriously
slow.
AFN The Eagle 810 Yakota
In case anyone is mildly curious, this is the spot where I sit to DX.
These are my radios and antennas:

And this is what's to my back when DXing at 945am local time.

1566 HLAZ was on the lower side of good, which is unusual.. it usually
peels the paint off at beyond arm chair copy here.
Pyongyang not noted on 657khz, splatter from KFAR 660 300 miles to my east
killed any chance of that.
1053 fair to good, 1098 very weak with barely perceptable audio.
No AFN
e station carrying this on this frequency in Australia. It looks

Well, there comes a time when even I won't go outside and that's going to
happen alot this winter, I can already tell,.
It's 9L15AM and -17 below right now, the windchill is at -25 below.
Nope, not happening.. no outside DX for me this morning, plus I've got
other stuff inside that needs to be
NewsTalk ZB Assistant Content Director Angus Mabey just confirmed the
1215khz signal I heard was NOT them.

Are there any Australian email or facebook groups dealing with AM DXing?
Since it seems like Aussies will be the order of the day for my AM DXing, I
should probably join a group

Yeah, it was that cold today... I wanted to see what my upper limit is,
probably -25 to -30 I think
1745UTC to 1845UTC
567: fair signal with what sounds like soul music. Audio:

1422: pretty good signal with contemporary sounding music. Audio:
Whoever it is was bubbling up again today at 1745UTC, I could hear the
speech and nearly certainly tell it was the english language, going to dip
back outside in half an hour and check.
