The order of the convars (+) is important. Place the +map last. +map will trigger the network to initialize and start the game. So you need to specify all the port convars first. Order of the options (-) is not important as far as I know. We typically just look for the existence of these rather

That's strange.  In my copy of srcds_run under the orangebox directory, line 341 is the declaration of the run() function.  What does a backtrace on the core file look like?  To get a backtrace, just open the file in gdb like this: gdb -c core-file Where core-file is the name of the core file.
