To find your column width, try this:
hold down Alt, then press O, to open format menu, then C, it says column
then W, it says the default width of column which is 8.43, then release Alt
key.
Press backspace if you want to delete the default

You're right. I woke up in the middle of the night to realize that I meant
to say insert-f1. It will give the column with. Insert-f1-f1 is another
