Yes, I agree about waiting for the anniversary update to come through the
windows update. I tried many times to manually update to the anniversary
update, using Jaws, and narrator. No luck, the same error about the display
came up. No, I would not advise removing the accessibility driver for Jaws.
you can force windows to give you the update by downloading and running
the media creation tool and choose the upgrade radio button.

I have upgraded with no issues. well I mostly use NVDA I have a jaws
demo on here as a secondary screen reader in case i need it for
something. I hope though that VFO or freedom scientific makes a free
jaws tied to ms-office or something though so I don't have to restart
every 40 minutes.
The only issue I've seen with the upgrade is that I can only alt tab
between two open windows, even though I have more than two open. If
anyone can help me remedy this, I'd love it. Thanks.

Hi all,
I expect Microsoft to roll out a new MCT and/or let Version 1607 propagate
throughout the world. As of now, Microsoft and Freedom Scientific (now VFO)
are fully aware of display compatibility flag issue for those upgrading via
MCT. Unfortunately, not only this affects JAWS, but some
Hi Jim,
Thank you so much for giving us a sneak peak of the anniversary update. I am

One thing I forgot to say about what I saw on the anniversary update. I am
not sure if it was because of the Jaws tandem. But I could not use the
Control+Tab, to switch tabs in the Task manager. Jaws only stayed on the
first page. So could one of you who is running the anniversary update to
W-10,
or just do what i did. bypass it and use the free microsoft media
creation tool and choose upgrade.

Uh oh, something really odd might be going on... Have you tried with

try contacting MS accessibility support desk and see what's next.

Hi group, I just did a Jaws tandem into Ed's new laptop which is running the

2. Tab one time to the category list of 9 main categories.
Hello all.
I tried upgrading my computer today and, of course, got the display problem
notation.
Will totally uninstalling JAWS and using another screen reader to install
the upgrade fix this problem?
Thanks in advance.
