To convert a PDF into Word, I simply copy and paste the text into a
Word document.
With a PDF open in Adobe, Alt E brings you to the edit menu, and B
copies all the text to the clipboard.
Open a new Word file and paste, using Control V
Then save the new Word file.

Actually, Openbook does record Elequence onto MP3 formatted files, if
you
set it to record the text into either WAV or MP3, its your choice.
I hope this helps, I had the program as a demo, that's how I know.

Although you can go to the files menue and use save as
text option, another option is to use PDF2txt
converter developed by Jamal Mazrui.
You can download it from:
Both the Save As Text and PDF2Text solutions are fine so long as the
document is not a photocopy of a previously printed document. This is to
say, if the document was created via a word processor or Adobe itself the
two ideas are terrific; but if the contents of the PDF is a picture of a
document
