But - just as a general suggestion that might help this specific problem and
other similar problems:
If there's something in my database that I can't find, I've found it helpful
to export it to a GEDCOM. Then scan the GEDCOM
It is possible that you had people accidently entered twice in the old file,
and you happen to be viewing the tree/island that doesn't have as much info.
Very easy to do, especially with the large quantity of people you have in your
file.
Besides the repair that was mentioned in another

event clipdboard, using the left-hand icon at the bottom, and then
clicking Add (in whoever's individual screen) and clicking the right-hand

If one has OPTIONS, CUSTOMIZE, SOURCES and has SOURCEWRITER ticked in
lower left, then you are forced to always use Sourcewriter. No way to use
the basic system when you are updating someone - without leaving that

LEGACY 6.0 shortcut in that menu's folder as well? Depending on what you
may have done with your start menu, you may need to poke around a bit to
find it, but the uninstall would normally be in the Legacy 6 folder along
If the archives are working for some and not others, then I'd suggest you
might try purging your browser cache. Best way for Internet Explorer - shut
IE down, right click on the link on the desktop, select PROPERTIES, then
under BROWSING HISTORY, select DELETE, then pick your item(s) to delete

You need to check for 2 things:
1) Did the missing data get exported into the GEDCOM
2) If so, what was it tagged as, so you can figure out how to get Legacy to
import it

When I tried to do the upgrade, mine too stalled at 7 or 8%. But it gave me
a chance to retry and I did and it took right off that time and finished
fine. Sorry, that doesn't give you much real help, but I wanted to let you
