[linux-dvb] Corrupted MPEGs (DVB-C)?

2006-08-14 Thread Thomas Börkel
HI! Recorded DVB-C mpeg files seem to be somehow corrupted or illegal. I can watch them perfectly with mplayer and MythTV, but skipping/jumping through them causes problems. MythTV (using ffmpeg) reports most of the time things like this, but the picture is visually OK: [mpeg2video @

Unfortunately I dont know much about the LNB. I went and remove it from the dish but the identification sticker has worn away. It came from a common 18 inch DirecTV dish. there are two LNB's in there, I think, because there are two coax outs. I'm only using one at the moment because I

I would REALLY apprecate any help or insght you might have on this. thank you very much for your consideration. What oscillator values does your LNB use? The last time I tried to use dvbtune in the US I had to change the hard coded defines from 9.750 / 10.6 GHz to match my US specific

Well, I tried different compiles and saw nothing different. I found that this LNB uses an oscillator running at 11.25 GHz. So I put these lines in the dvb_defaults.h file for dvbtune: /* DVB-S */ // With a diseqc system you may need different values per LNB. I hope // no-one ever asks for
