When I use kppp sometimes it will connect to the web and other times it
won't. Attached is my ppp-logfile for the times it did not connect. If
someone could tell what the problem is I would be grateful.

I got my modem to work using setserial but, how do I get my system
to configure ttyS3 for irq 4 at boot-up?

I am new to Linux, and new at this mailing list thing, I

I have finally gotten my ppp connection to work and this is the first
e-mail I am sending using Linux. I need to now find a better way to
initiate the login process. The only way I know how to login now is to
open linuxconf in GNOME, select PPP/SLIP/PLIP, then select ppp0 and
press the connect
