Hello Henry,
are you sure trying on openthincleint version 2.x? OTC is still being

Have you read:

hopefully they will be ever answered...
1) Is this project even alive? I don´t see any answers since year 2015. I
am trying to make some breakthrough in using OTC but without help I will be
probably damned -

Hello,
I have big problem regarding autostart option for commandline and custom made
applications. Autostart seems to not work, I have even tried to make icon which
should be schema autostart but it does not. Implemented Commandline option
does not autostart aswell. Only applications that
Hello,
exactly same thing happened to me when I tried to virtualize the client on
Hyper-V. On my test thin client it actually works.
What is your client setup? Is it Hyper-V or thin client or …?

This is, unfortunately, on a physical machine: an AMD Athlon 5350 system with

Hello,
Oh well, you could if you would edit files in “TCOS” directory…
If you will pull git with openthinclient packages, you should be able to at
least try changing package of rdekstop/FreeRDP in way that it would ask you for
ip address on start.
I think it is possible, but it needs some
Hi Mark Jack,
I think it is really hardware related issue while I didn't have this kind of
problems with both LG and Samsung monitors. It is probably about HP.
I never got Thinstation to work properly or at least I had issues regarding
some functions I really needed, even that smart card
Hello Daniel,
depends what RDP client are you using - it is pretty possible to do it with
both FreeRDP and rdesktop... but from what I know, you will have to compile
newest rdesktop, because just version 1.8.3 can connect to Windows 2012 TS.
Best regards,

Oh well, I am not really sure about that. Only thing you want to have
synchronized are actually settings, but other than that, OTC Server itself is
just tool for creating PXE boot-up to RDP. So, there is no problem for setting
more servers and just copy-cat the settings. If you will have custom
Hello,
I have came across one quite difficult problem and that are slow stream video
on Intel HD integrated graphic cards, easier way for anyone to try it out is to
start browser in OTC linux desktop and play YouTube videos. Sadly on all
clients videos have major tearing in fullscreen even
Hello Andreas,
yes, it is - but it really depends to what port is display conneceted etc, you
might want to make dualview device connected to Hardware Type which you are
using or of course you can do it 1to1 through clients.. But yeah, HW types are
easier way to make it for more thin clients.
Hello,
I wanted to ask if there is plan to upgrade OTC deployed client to Jessie
while I start to have compatibility issues of drivers etc due to Wheezy base
of OTC client.
Some stuff just does not work like IntedHD GPU acceleration or some repacking
based on that. I have aswell issues with
Heya,
first of all, go through this really slowly

points from this, then ask more, because it is quite easy but difficult when
you don't know almost anything about it.
