Hello All
Since I am soon to receive my K10D, which will partly replace my *ist D, I
guess a little statistics is in it's place.
I had it for 29 months.
I did 45000 shots
I paid app.. 1180 USD incl. CF-cards, for it.
That's the total cost - just about.
That's in average 52 shots every day.

I've checked all the variables numerous times, and to the best of my
knowledge, they're correct. The color space of both the file and the
working space is correct. I reinstalled the Epson print drivers. Still
no luck. Here are my settings (PhotoShop CS):

I have to say I've never seen an optical print that resolved as much
detail as a superb scan. Of course most scans are not superb, and
most optical prints are not perfectly executed. This, of course,

And I can (unfortunately) testify to their satisfactory
return exchange service; my first AF-540 was defective
(probably damaged in transit - I hate UPS), but I now
have an exchange unit where the wide-angle adapter and
catchlight reflector slide in and out properly.
